The Swinging Blue Jeans are a five-piece 60s British merseybeat band, best known for their proto-rave-up hit single "Hippy Hippy Shake" (also known as "The Hippy Hippy Shake"). Intriguingly, while the song sounds rather Beatles-clone like, the Beatles did in fact do a cover version of this song for the BBC.
Natasha Bedingfield (born November 26, 1981) is a British Pop singer, and sister of pop singer, Daniel Bedingfield. She also has a younger sister, Nikola Rachelle. Her debut single, "Single", was released in 2004, followed by the worldwide hit "These Words", which charted at #1 in the United Kingdom. She also released "Unwritten" and "I Bruise Easily" from the album, both of which were top 20 hits. Her debut album Unwritten went triple platinum in the UK, and has since found huge success in the USA.
Sparks are an American rock and pop music band formed in Los Angeles in 1970 by brothers Ron Mael (keyboards) and Russell Mael (vocals), initially under the name Halfnelson. Best known for their quirky approach to song writing, Sparks' music is often accompanied by cutting and acerbic lyrics, and an idiosyncratic stage presence, typified in the contrast between Russell's wide-eyed hyperactive frontman antics and Ron's sedentary scowling.
